The 2007 Airshow at Quonset featured for the first time ever the US Air Force’s latest high tech stealth aircraft; the F-22 Raptor. The aircraft is such a high risk asset that it was not even allowed to land at Quonset; it had to fly back to Langley that same day, which was made possible with midair refueling.
